Get Interactive strives to enhance the experience of users on the internet by making the internet more accessible, especially for people with disabilities.

Although Get Interactive is not a government organization, we are committed to complying as closely as possible with the following legislation by 2025: the Act of July 19, 2018 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of government organizations.

Level of conformance with the accessibility standard
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) include accessibility requirements for people with disabilities. These guidelines are implemented at three levels: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Get Interactive has chosen to target Level AA of WCAG 2.2 at this stage. Currently, our website does not yet meet this standard. Additionally, the downloadable PDF files on our website still need to be reviewed for accessibility standards.
Measures to improve accessibility
As an organization, we have taken various measures to make both our website and the websites of our clients more accessible:
- As Get Interactive, we are committed to e-inclusion on the internet and share various articles on this topic on our websites. We strive to bring our motto "experience is everything" to life. And of course, this also applies to people with disabilities, so they have a smooth user experience on our websites and the websites of our clients.
- Our colleagues have received training on accessibility standards and communication strategies, and we continue to actively invest in increasing awareness and knowledge in this area.
Regarding the accessibility of getinteractive.nl, we are working on a clear action plan with stakeholders, including accessibility experts from Get Interactive, the marketing and communication team from Get Interactive, and the development team of both websites. Our goal is to comply with WCAG 2.2 AA standards during 2025.

We are doing our best to make both of our websites and all documents on the websites accessible to everyone during 2024. We are aware that this is currently a work-in-progress, with priorities known to us.
